Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Spicy Cajun Alfredo Twisted Pasta

Ingredients

For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites:

1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

3 tbsp olive oil

4 tbsp butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

Salt & pepper, to taste

½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for extra kick)

For the Spicy Cajun Alfredo Pasta:

12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp butter

Salt & pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    Boil the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, saving ½ cup of pasta water for later.
  2. Sear the Steak Bites:
    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
    Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
    Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes, turning to brown all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Base:
    Using the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  4. Create the Cajun Alfredo Sauce:
    Pour in heavy cream, add Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
    Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes, then stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth.
  5. Toss the Pasta:
    Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until well coated.
    If the sauce is too thick, stir in some reserved pasta water until creamy.
  6. Combine with Steak Bites:
    Return steak bites to the skillet and mix gently into the pasta.
  7. Garnish and Serve:
    Sprinkle with fresh parsley and a pinch of red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot!
